4. Holding a cigarette in one hand and notes on the other 15 minutes before an exam
5. Muttering about minor subjects
6. Grabbing cases
7. Performing health procedures like a pro
8. Hearing the cry of a newborn
9. Dealing with patients from all walks of life
10. Having a great time with booze and in night outs despite the school pressure
11. Buying and stealing gloves, masks, and bonnets
12. Constant monitoring for stains in the white uniform
13. No wash days
14. Backbiting bitchy nurses and scornful physicians
15. Enlightening discussions from doctors and medical staff
16. Learning unexpected lessons from patients
17. The sense of privilege to work in a hospital
18. Community service
19. Heart pounding surgeries
20. Heart warming deliveries
21. Heart racing emergency cases
22. The first injections
23. Illegally practicing procedures that only a licensed nurse should do
24. Learning how to multi-multitask
25. Having big bags
26. Performing CPR on a real, dying patient
27. Knowing how to place ECG leads
28. Proud moments when the staff acknowledges you as if you’re a part of the the licensed team
29. Endorsements
30. When the staff nurse teaches you new skills
31. Cleaning the surgical instruments
32. Being yelled at all the time
33. Losing a patient for the first time
